Where did we stay in the Uk when we returned from Europe ?

Returning to the UK after a month under canvas we planned to find somewhere in the Uk to settle for at least six months whie we plan our next Big Adventure. Faced with either yet more campsites, we chose to stay in comfort in a number of holiday cottages. Below we share with you our views on these properties:

  • Complex of 11 separate cottages converted from barns and other farm buildings
  • Very friendly owners
  • Each cottage is tastefully decorated
  • Clean and tidy with ample parking
  • Not all properties appear to have views of the countryside, some overlook the main courtyard
  • Thin walls between adjoining properties, noisy neighbours can be a problem
  • Quiet location about 15 mins by car from Welshpool
